ACG's life member and craft instructor, Mastura Mustaffa has always been dabbling with crafts. And in 2008, she took a plunge and immersed herself fully into her passion. Her perseverance paid off and to date these are her accomplishments :)
1. KAVITA RESORT WEAR
October 2010 – November 2010 (2 months)
She was engaged by Ms. Kavita Kaur to design and craft wire art jewelry pieces for her runway show during the Malaysia International Fashion Week (MIFW) show 20102 .LEO BURNETT
September 2009 – December 2009 (4 months)
She was also engaged by the advertising agency, Leo Burnett to work on an event for cosmetic label SKII.
3. ELEVYN-UNHCR
Then she was engaged by the organisation Elevyn-UNHCR to
1. Design a range of jewelry pieces
2. Teach refugees skills in jewelry-making.
3. Organise a simple business structure that can help the women make and sell their jewelry.
4. SIEMENS
-- Engaged to conduct jewelry-making workshops to the employees as part of corporate curricular event activity.
5. BAYERHEALTH
6. NATIONAL TEXTILE MUSEUM
Nov-Dec 2011, Dec 2012
-- Engaged by National Textile Museum, KL, through The Arts & Crafts Guild, KL & Selangor (ACG) to conduct wire jewelry workshop for visitors of as part of NTM's Textile Carnival / year-end event.
7. ETIQA
-- Engaged by Etiqa Insurance @ Dataran Maybank, through The Arts & Crafts Guild, KL & Selangor (ACG) to conduct wire jewelry making workshop for employees of ETIQA as part of their corporate community craft awareness - Hobby Week.
